LITTLE SUTTON HOO

Major alterations, a full refurbishment and renovation programme together with garden and landscaping works brought this neglected property into the 21st century. Two new bedrooms and a landing were formed in the roof space with three new dormer windows facing south and new gable windows.  The ground and first floor plans were substantially altered with all new bathrooms and kitchen.

A new Study was constructed on the footprint of an existing attached garden room structure and the existing stables were converted to form part of the house to provide a Boots Room, WC and Games Room. The attached Garage was also converted to form part of the house to provide a Gym and Laundry Room.  A new Greenhouse and Potting Shed were constructed on the footprint of an earlier, derelict one.

An extension in the classical style was added on the north side to accommodate an Entrance Hall, WC, plant cupboards and corridor. A new bay window was added to the Dining Room and a new open porch on the west wall.  Landscaping work was carried out on all sides of the house. The formal approach garden was designed to enhance the classical approach frontage.
