WHITE LODGE

The house was extended to include a new orangery and new porch at the front, a bay window in the sitting room and a new games room at the rear.

The new dining room is of seasoned oak construction with natural slate and hand made clay plain tile roofs, hand made brick plinth, natural hydraulic lime rendering, specially made leaded lights and decorative ironmongery to match the existing house. A jettied gallery allows the new rooflights to light the existing hall and staircase. 

The work received a Suffolk Association of Architects Craftsmanship Award.
