STUTTON OLD RECTORY-

New frontage

We were commissioned to put a new frontage onto the existing house.  A new break forward wall was added to support a new classical pediment. The parapet was rebuilt with a new stone cornice and moulded coping. Stone window sills, window dressings and stone base for the whole frontage were added.  The frontage was rerendered with lime render, lined out to resemble ashlar work and lime painted.

New entrance joinery, including the door, side and fanlights and framework, was added.  A new porch with ionic columns, carved hardwood capitals supporting the special entablature with modillions and coffer rosettes.  The porch has a specialist lead roof and lead rainwater goods.
