DAIRY HOUSE FARM

Dairy House Farm is part of the Tendring Estate designed by Robert Adam in the 18th century.  Our work included the total refurbishment of the house and dairy building, both of which are Grade II listed.

Derelict agricultural buildings and a steeply sloping courtyard were cleared to create a new swimming pool, barn, pergola and landscaped terraces.  The existing brick and tile barn was carefully refurbished. The new barn is constructed from oak and brick with a unique structure to carry the roof.

This project received two Commendations, for Heritage: New Work and Landscaping in the RIBA East Spirit of Ingenuity Awards 2005.
