Landscapes Swimming Pools and Pool Houses |
LANDSCAPES Gardens and parkland, outbuildings, follies, pool houses and cartlodges are all part of the vision of the house in its context. We have put more and more effort into the total concept and the results have been spectacular. Schemes range from many acres with parkland treatment and areas of developed gardens, to pocket handkerchiefs treated as outdoor rooms with intimate connection to the main living space of the house. 1. A formal garden with new gazebo was formed in an existing walled garden, part of an extensive landscaping project which included a new swimming pool and pavilions. See also Gallery Four. 2. A scheme for a terraced garden with knot garden, pillar roses and rooms formed by hedges. The house received a Georgian Group Commendation. 3. The landscaping work included a new pool within a walled garden, formal rose gardens and architectural fruit cage and received the RIBA East Spirit of Ingenuity Award for Landscaping. See also Gallery One. 4. This project received the Commendation in the RIBA East Spirit of Ingenuity Landscaping Awards, transforming a derelict farm courtyard into a new family leisure complex. |
